American Got Talent:
So, a girl named Alondra Santos didn't go through. What I love about this girl is that she has a great, and not only it's a great voice. She singed in a style not many people sing in here in America.
"The only way you could wow me was if it were different and extrodinary."
I really think they need to watch to what they say because if they're going to say they want something different, then, pick someone who's like many other singers here in America, not different. That's where I question things.
Once, I auditioned for a teenage idol thing back in H.S., and they said "Next time pick a song that we can understand." I singed in Japanese in a different language because it was different. Take note, it was only an audition, but they say they had an issue with songs in different languages. They're not only judging you on your voice, they're judging on your music intrests and that's not OK, nor thoroughly a singing competiton. But, back to this. I really don't like the fact they're saying they want someone different, but then chose someone who isn't.
I don't know. That really irked my nerves because I really liked Alondra, and we know more foreign music here in America. And, you can write foreign music in English;
language or not doesn't determine the culture's musical sound.I wonder how you NEWGROUNDs folk feel about that.
